Senior Facilities

Our Senior School is located in a separate modern building at the far end of Redfields House containing our senior classrooms, science laboratories, open-plan senior library and ICT suite and the fantastic, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Theatre. 

Senior pupils also have access to a variety of outstanding sporting facilities including our sports hall, fitness suite and many multi-use sporting areas.

We are proud of our fantastic and inspiring range of indoor and outdoor facilities which include:

• Classrooms - Well-resourced, bright, stimulating and containing interactive whiteboards.
• Senior Library - Housing a continually evolving, well-stocked collection of books and resources.
• Science Laboratories - Separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics labs for practical experimentation and demos.
• ICT Suite - Fully equipped with PCs and the latest software, where pupils have weekly computing lessons.
• Dining Hall - A choice of freshly cooked nutritious food is served daily to all our Senior pupils.
• Pritchard Hall - Our purpose-built auditorium where assemblies, concerts and productions take place.
• Drama Studio - The backstage area for productions and weekly Performing Arts and GCSE Drama lessons.
• Food Technology Room - Welcoming and fully equipped for Food Preparation and Nutrition lessons.
• Music Classroom - Equipped with an array of instruments and a suite of Apple Mac computers for composing.
• Music Lodge - A dedicated building for peripatetic lessons with multiple practice rooms.
• Art and Textiles Centre - A stimulating and creative environment for Art and Textile lessons.
• Senior Playground - Where senior pupils talk together, with access to a variety of equipment.
• Woods - Senior pupils help to facilitate Forest School sessions as part of their enrichment and leadership programme.

With our extensive grounds, and woodland, Senior pupils experience a multitude of sports through curriculum lessons and after school clubs, using our excellent range of sports facilities:

• Sports Hall - with viewing gallery, facilitating indoor sports such as volleyball, basketball, badminton and trampolining.
• Fitness Suite - Senior pupils have the opportunity to use our fully equipped fitness suite.
• Sports Field - with long jump and marked out for seasonal sports such as football, rugby, cricket, rounders and athletics.
• Astro Turf Pitch - floodlit with an all-weather surface ensures football, netball and hockey are played in all weathers.
• Netball and Tennis Courts - used for PE lessons and extra-curricular clubs and fixtures.
• Running Track - nestled in our woodland providing scenic cross-country training and charity fun runs.
