SENIORS
WELCOME TO OUR SENIOR SCHOOL
At St Nicholas' Senior School, we continue to build on earlier learning to encourage academic excellence, intellectual curiosity and independence whilst ensuring our Senior pupils reach their full potential with a sense of responsibility and community.
Our broad academic timetable and specialist teachers provide pupils with the opportunity to explore Key Stage 3 subjects such as Latin, Mandarin, Classical Civilisation and the three sciences separately. St Nicholas’ School has a very strong tradition of encouraging and developing pupils’ creativity to help them excel in design subjects, for example Art, Food Technology and Textiles, and in the Performing Arts.
Throughout their time in the Senior School, each pupil is provided with a school device, with the intent of maximising their learning experience by combining all the benefits of modern technology alongside the more traditional methods of learning, such as classroom discussions, writing and practical work.
To support our Senior girls, we offer a fantastic co-curricular programme and a wide range of enrichment, from trips far and wide to school sports, music, productions and leadership opportunities, alongside specialist pastoral care and learning support.
