Nursery Sessions

  • A £100 non-refundable registration fee is payable when applying for a place at St Nicholas' School. 
     
  • A £500 deposit is payable on acceptance of a place.  This deposit amount is refunded, less any charges due, following the pupil’s last term at St Nicholas' School.  

The Nursery is open during term time, welcoming children from 2 years 9 months.  Parents can use up to 15 free hours of Early Years Education (EYE) funding, available for Nursery children from the term after their 3rd birthday.

We offer morning and afternoon sessions (with or without lunch included) as well as full day provision using a structure of sessions.  Children can attend any combination of these full or half day sessions (minimum of 3 sessions recommended) subject to availability:

WRAPAROUND CARE


For parents who need childcare outside of school hours, we offer wraparound care from 7:30am to 6:00pm during term time:

early years education (eye) funding

Parents can use up to 15 free hours of EYE funding during term time morning (8:45am - 11.45am) and afternoon (12:45am - 3.45pm) Nursery sessions, excluding the hour for lunch.

EYE funding is available for Nursery children from the term after the pupil turns 3 years old and for Reception children up to and including the term in which they turn 5 years old, subject to completing a Parent Declaration Form.
