We are delighted that you are considering St Nicholas’ School for your son or daughter. We understand how important it is to find the right school and we know this decision can feel daunting for any parent. 

As part of our Admissions Process, we encourage parents to arrange taster days for their children. We have upcoming Taster Events for key entry points, and throughout the year, we can also offer bespoke taster days tailored to your child's interests. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to experience our school community first hand.

BESPOKE TASTER DAYS

Taster days allow children to get to know pupils in their year group and experience a normal school day.

We are very flexible and happy to invite your child in when their favourite lesson is on the timetable, whether it be Art, Drama, Maths, Science or Sport. 

On the day, your child will be allocated a ‘buddy’ (which usually expands to two or three buddies!). Your child’s buddy will stay with them all day, spending time with them during break and lunch, and guiding them between lessons throughout the school. Taster day buddies can become the first of many life-long friends your child will make once they join us.
