Taster Days
Our fun-filled Taster Days are a fantastic way for your child to experience life at St Nicholas' School first hand by taking part in a wide range of subjects and activities, coupled with the opportunity to meet current pupils and staff.
Places on our Taster Days are limited, and registration is essential. To register your child on one of our forthcoming Taster Days, please complete the online Booking Form and return our Registration Form below to admissions@stnicholas.school.
Once our Admissions Team has received these forms, along with a non-refundable registration fee of £100, you will receive confirmation that your child is successfully registered.
Starting a new school can be daunting for any child and an anxious time for parents. Here at St Nicholas’ School, we make sure this step is happy and welcoming.
Reception Taster Day
Monday 18th November 2024
(9.00am - 3.30pm)
This day is for Nursery pupils, current and prospective, who are considering joining Reception, September 2025.
There will be a variety of fun activities throughout the day with an adventures in wonderland theme. Lunch and snacks are provided.

Year 3 Taster Day
Monday 18th November 2024
(9.00am - 3.30pm)
This day is for Year 2 pupils, current and prospective, who are considering joining Year 3, September 2025.
It is a fun and informative day to give your child the chance to experience life in the Junior School, with a little fairy magic included! Lunch and snacks are provided.

Year 7 Taster Event
Friday 8th November 2024
(4.30pm - 6.30pm)
This evening is for Year 6 pupils, current and prospective, who are considering joining Year 7, September 2025.
It is a fun and informal event, held in our Art and Textiles Centre, providing your child the chance to enjoy being creative whilst meeting and building friendships with other girls that are looking to join Year 7. This event will be followed by our PTA Fireworks Display. A light dinner will be provided.
