Wraparound Care

Infant pupil reading to senior pupil

Due to busy and demanding schedules, many of our parents take advantage of the wraparound care that St Nicholas’ School has to offer, providing flexibility when required whilst engaging children in a variety of new experiences.

For parents who need childcare outside of school hours, we offer wraparound care from 7:30am to 6:00pm during term time.

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE

BREAKFAST CLUB (7:30am – 8:00am)

Running every day and supervised by a member of the teaching staff from across the school, pupils can choose from a traditional hot breakfast or continental breakfast – or maybe a combination of both!

After Breakfast Club finishes at 8:00am, Nursery and Infant pupils are taken to Branksomewood by a member of staff. Juniors and Seniors remain in the Dining Hall (Early Birds) until 8:15am, whereupon they then go to their classrooms.

Please note; both Breakfast Club and Early Birds are chargeable.

Early Birds (8:00am – 8:15am)

Early Birds starts from 8.00am in their classroom where children are encouraged to sit quietly with friends and engage in an activity of their choice.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

After School Clubs (4:00pm – 6:00pm)

Our Homework and After School Clubs are available for all pupils every evening from 4:00pm to 6:00pm during term time.

We offer a variety of different activities and clubs for every day of the week, ensuring that pupils who stay after school are engaged and have the opportunity to explore new interests in their extra time at school.

Some of the clubs may carry an additional charge.

HOLIDAY CARE

ACTIVITY WEEKS

We offer Activity Weeks during the school holidays, available to all our pupils, encompassing a range of fun activities and exciting off-site trips. Details of the Activity Weeks are sent out during the preceding term, along with the daily and weekly costs.
